Notice To Our Patients: Coronavirus

As of March 18, 2022, Orleans Parish is categorized as having LOW COVID-19 Community Level, when considering the three CDC measures together and using the thresholds listed in the chart above. Therefore, the New Orleans Health Department is revising prior guidelines, lifting requirements on COVID-19 proof of vaccination or proof a recent negative COVID test to enter certain establishments. These updated guidelines will be effective as of March 21st, 2022 at 6:00 A.M.

Residents should prepare for the likelihood of future surges by continuing to assess risk levels for themselves and loved ones and relying on proven mitigation strategies: testing, masks, and staying up to date with COVID vaccinations.

Masks

Individuals are not required to wear a mask or face covering with the exception of the following:

  • On public transportation, including airplanes, ships, ferries, trains, buses, taxis, ride-shares, and the corresponding transportation hubs, as specified in Federal guidelines.
  • Healthcare facilities and long-term care settings, as specified in Federal guidelines.

Nothing in these guidelines shall prevent private businesses from requiring vaccinations, negative tests, masks, or social distancing to conduct operations.

Since we are a medical facility, we will be following the guidelines as shown above.  We will no longer require our patients to call before entering the office unless they feel more comfortable in doing so at 504-895-6657
